    Ben Russell, Engagement Manager, Mining sector, Standards Australia 
    Ben’s role is to manage and encourage engagement between consumers, government, industry and the standards development process, nationally and internationally. This includes assisting in the process of creating proposals for new standards and changes to existing ones, as well as continuously work with the community to help get the right stakeholders onto technical committees. 
     
    Dr Simon Strickland, Senior Adviser on Strategy and Head of Critical Minerals in the European and Global Issues Secretariat of the Cabinet Office.
    Dr Simon Strickland also chairs expert BSI Committees on standards for Lithium and for the Rare Earth Elements.
     
    Lorna Bennett, Senior Engineer – Sustainability, Offshore Renewable Energy (ORE) Catapult
    Lorna leads on delivery of research projects relating to sustainability and circular economy. She has led the development of the Circular Economy for the Wind Sector (CEWS)  Joint Industry Programme to deliver research and aims to lay the foundations for a circular economy supply chain, enabling components and materials to be reused environmentally, economically and socially responsibly.
